Iraq Stops Islamic State – level 2

Iraq’s military celebrated victory over Islamic State, as the prime minister said that Iraq gained control of the border with Syria.
In northwest Iraq, villagers returned to their ruined village. The mayor says that both the Islamic State and the Kurdish army destroyed hundreds of homes.

One man says that both groups destroyed the homes, but the Kurdish army would not let people come back. He said that the army wanted to change the demography, but the Iraqi army and other militias were able to stop this ideology of changing the area.
