Attack in Kabul – level 1
26-04-2018 07:00
People plan elections in Afghanistan. They plan them for October. People register for the elections. They register at registration centres.
There are four attacks on the registration centres. The fourth attack is the deadliest. Fifty-seven people die. Five of them are children. Another 119 people are injured.
The Islamic State group says that it did the attack.
Difficult words: election (when people choose what their government does), register (say your name and be put on a list), did (past of ‘do’).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
