Changes to School Food – level 2
12-04-2019 07:00
When President Obama was president of the USA, he made stronger rules on what types of food children can get at school. Last Wednesday, some states sued organisations in the Trump administration because they made those rules weaker.
Michelle Obama was President Obama’s First Lady. She helped create the stronger rules and she criticised the change. She asked why the government does not want children to have good food at school.
Difficult words: sue (go to court and say that somebody is doing something bad), administration (the people who are Trump’s government).
