Gundam is a Japanese character. It is very popular in the 1970s. This year is the 40th anniversary of the TV series. The TV series is called ’Mobile Suit Gundam’.

A company makes a robot from the TV show. The robot is very special. It takes six years to make the robot. It is very big. It is 59 feet tall. It weighs 25 tons. People make it from steel and plastic.

The robot is in an amusement park in Japan. Last week, people test it. The robot moves its arm. It can put one knee on the ground.

Gundam fans are very happy. They want to see the robot. They want to touch it. It is going to be possible in December 2020.

Difficult words: character (a person or animal or thing in a book or film), anniversary (the date on which something happens), amusement park (a large place where people go to have fun).
