Politicians in 44 US states write a letter to Facebook.

They write that it is not OK if Facebook makes a version of Instagram for children. Instagram is a place where people can show photos. The politicians say that children don’t know how to use Instagram correctly. They also say that children who use Facebook aren’t safe because they can talk to strange people on Facebook.

Facebook wants to make Instagram for children which is safe. Facebook also says that Instagram for children has no ads.

Difficult words: version (another type of something), strange (when something is strange, you don’t know it), ad (the short word of “advertisement” which is when people sell things).
