Serbian police arrested 38 people who protested against the results of the December 17 elections.

The opposition group claimed that the elections were not fair, especially in Belgrade. Police clashed with protesters who tried to enter city hall. The opposition doesn’t accept the result of the election, and they ask the EU to investigate and a new fair election. US Ambassador didn’t agree with the violence, and he said that elections had to be democratic and transparent.

The Serbian president accused the west of supporting the protests. But international observers said that there were some troubles, such as buying votes and media bias.

Difficult words: opposition (people with different ideas and opinions than the main political party), accuse (to say that someone did something wrong), bias (to act in favor of or against an idea or thing).
