People in Austria must get a COVID-19 vaccine – level 1
10-02-2022 15:00
Austria makes a new law. People older than 18 years must get a COVID-19 vaccine. The law will start in March. The President already says to do it.
People will check if people have a vaccine. If they do not show a document about it, they will pay a fine. The fine can be up to 600 euros.
Officials will check the information about all people. People without a vaccine will get a message. They must get a vaccine. Officials will give a date when people must come to get it.
Some people are angry. They do not want a vaccine. They want to pay a fine.
Difficult words: law (an official rule for all people of a country), vaccine
(a medicine that makes you stronger against a disease), fine (money which someone has to pay when he breaks an official rule).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
