Organizations help people in Africa; they are saying that the help is becoming very expensive.

Somalia is a country badly affected by drought, and it needs a lot of help. Sadly, international organizations have big problems, and the reason is the war in Ukraine. These organizations must help Ukrainian refugees, and they have less money to give to people in Africa.

Nutriset is a French company, which makes food for African children. This special food contains peanuts, palm oil, milk powder, and other things which are becoming more expensive. Since last year, the price of this food went up by 23%.

Organizations say that they need more money. Without the money, 600,000 more children won’t have enough food.

Difficult words: drought (a long period without rain), refugee (a person that leaves his country because of danger), milk powder (dry milk).
