Cop City is a police training center situated outside Atlanta, United States.

Currently, the training center is under construction, and the price of the project is 90 million dollars. Its purpose is to support community spirit after the murder of George Floyd in 2020. But there are many problems already.

Some groups terrorize workers and local people, and there were several protests at the site. Recently, police arrested more than 30 people who attacked the officers. During one protest, police killed a 26-year-old activist. The project and police violence made many people very angry, including religious leaders.

Difficult words: community spirit (when people who live in one place are friendly and understanding), terrorize (to make someone feel very scared), police violence (when police use too much force when it is not necessary).
