Astronomers see the biggest explosion ever. It is called AT2021lwx.

The explosion is more than 10 times brighter than any known explosion of a star. It is a fireball. It is 100 times bigger than the sun and 2 trillion times brighter than the sun. The explosion happens after a huge cloud of gas goes into a very big black hole. Maybe, the gas cloud comes from a big dusty “doughnut”. It is usually around black holes.

The explosion starts more than three years ago. It is the strongest explosion which people ever see.
