Nonprofit organizations in Brazil, like Rioterra and The Black Jaguar Foundation, face problems in saving parts of the Amazon rainforest.

They fight against illegal land seizures and attacks on workers. They don’t have much money for their activities.  Also, it is not easy to grow so many new trees quickly. Despite these problems, reforestation can help fight climate change. Trees capture carbon dioxide and they are home to many animals. Brazil has a lot of land that used to be forest, but it will take a lot of money to restore it. Although the government has given less money for reforestation lately, organizations like Rioterra and The Black Jaguar Foundation keep working towards their big goals.

Difficult words: seizure (taking hold of something), reforestation (planting an area with new trees), capture (to catch).
