Europe buys lots of COVID-19 medicine Paxlovid. This is when there are many sick people. But now, many medicines may go bad.
The medicine helps with bad COVID. But doctors do not use it much anymore. It is hard for doctors to give it to people. The medicine has two parts. It can be tricky. Some people have problems with it. It is better to take it early in COVID. But many people do not know when to take it.
Europe has now around 3.1 million courses. The price of them is billions of euros. And nobody may use the drug. Some countries will throw it away.
