Last week, the windmill sails of Paris’s famous Moulin Rouge cabaret fell off and damaged the building’s front.

Nobody got hurt and there was no other danger. Moulin Rouge’s director said that they would repair the mill soon and shows will continue without a break. He added that the accident happened because of technical problems and it was not vandalism.

The Moulin Rouge is one of the most famous cabaret clubs in the world. This year, it will be 135 years since its opening. This symbol of Paris nightlife is popular for its French cancan dance.

Difficult words: windmill (a building with sails which turn in the wind and make power), cabaret (a show at a nightclub or restaurant), vandalism (breaking things on purpose).
