The Bruce Highway is a very dangerous road in Queensland. Many people die in crashes there.

It is not a safe road. It is narrow in many parts, and this causes accidents. Over 149 people die between 2018 and 2022. Families of the people who die want the government to make the road safer. Betty Stuart’s husband dies in an accident. Betty says that the road must change. The government plans to spend money to make it better.

But people think that the government must do more. Drivers say that the Bruce Highway is one of the worst roads in Australia.
