A new study says that Earth will have a second mini-moon.

This mini-moon is a small space rock. It is about 10 meters long. It will travel around Earth from late September to late November. Earth’s gravity pulls the rock. It will stay for two months. Mini-moons are rare. But scientists see them before in 1981 and 2022.

The mini-moon is called 2024 PT5. You cannot see it without a telescope because it is very small. After two months, the mini-moon will go back into space. It will not come back until the year 2055.

Difficult words: mini (very small), gravity (a force which pulls objects to the ground), rare (not usual or common).
