Attack in Kashmir – level 2
22-09-2016 07:00
Militants attacked an Indian army base in Kashmir. At least 17 soldiers died and more were injured. People set a building and some tents on fire during the attack. Four attackers died.
The army used helicopters to evacuate the injured soldiers from the base. Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned the attack.
Difficult words: militant (an aggressive, radical person), army base (the army’s centre of operations), condemn (say that you do not like something).
