Show for pets in Lima – level 3

Peru and its pets have been getting in the Christmas spirit. The furry friends have been participating in the annual pet holiday contest in Lima. At least 82 pets, ranging from dogs to rabbits to tortoises got involved.

The animals dressed up and walked on the catwalk, much to the delight of the audience. Not only was it an entertaining show, its purpose was also to spread a message of responsibility towards pets. All the pets looked adorable.

Difficult words: spirit (an atmosphere), furry (with hair), contest (a competition), ranging (being anything between), catwalk (a narrow walkway for models), adorable (very cute to look at).
