2022 space exploration – level 1

Many things happen in space exploration in 2022.
NASA’s Artemis 1 mission starts. It begins missions to the moon and Mars. A NASA rocket also successfully hits an asteroid. The rocket changes the asteroid’s movement. This is important to keep our planet safe. NASA builds the James Webb Space Telescope. It costs 9 billion dollars. The telescope takes beautiful pictures. People see things which they never see before.
Scientists take a picture of the black hole in the center of our galaxy. The black hole is called Sagittarius A. It is the second picture of a black hole in history.
Lastly, China builds its first space station. First three astronauts arrive there in November.
Difficult words: space exploration (send people and machines into space), telescope (an instrument to look at stars and other objects in space), galaxy (a system of millions of stars, gas, and dust).
