A famous French actor Alain Delon died at the age of 88.
He had roles in popular movies like Plein Soleil and Le Samouraï. Delon became very popular in the 1960s and people recognized him for his good looks and strong acting. He played different roles such as police officers and hitmen in many films. Even though he tried to make it in Hollywood, Delon stayed more successful in French cinema. Delon also produced films and directed some later in his career.
The French President, Emmanuel Macron, called Delon a French monument and praised his talent. Delon’s children announced his death. They said that he died peacefully at home.
