Attack on Police Academy – level 2
27-10-2016 07:00
In Pakistan, gunmen in suicide vests attacked a police academy. There were more than 200 cadets at the academy when the gunmen attacked. The incident happened late on Monday.
Around 100 people were wounded and more than 59 people died. Some of the cadets were taken hostage. Two of the attackers blew themselves up. Another attacker was shot.
People think that people from the Islamist group Laskher-e-Jhangvi did this.
Difficult words: suicide vest (a vest with a bomb), cadet (a police student), wounded (hurt), hostage (a person who is kept by an attacker; the hostage can be set free if you do what the attacker wants).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
