Linda Sun works for New York Governor Kathy Hochul in the past. She has to leave her job. Some bad information about her comes up.

Prosecutors say that Sun helps the Chinese government. She is a spy. Prosecutors say that she and her husband take money and gifts from China. They use the money to buy houses and cars. Sun also changes documents and cancels meetings. She does it to help China. She and her husband say they do not do anything wrong.

This story is important because of the problems between the US and China.

Difficult words: prosecutor (a legal official who says that someone does something wrong), spy (a person whose job is to find out secret information about another country or organization), cancel (to decide that a plan or event will not happen).
