Climate Talk at WEF – level 1
28-01-2019 15:00
The World Economic Forum brings together 2,500 people. They are top business leaders, political leaders, economists, celebrities and journalists. They discuss world problems for four days. The WEF happens in Switzerland every year.
Sir David Attenborough is an English broadcaster. He is also a natural historian. He talks at the WEF. He says that climate change is a big problem. He says that people must deal with this problem. If we do not, the future can be terrible.
Difficult words: broadcaster (a person who is on radio and television), natural historian (a person who studies natural history – organisms like animals, plants and fungi), deal (to manage a problem – make things better so that there isn’t the problem).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
