Parents often use apps to control their kids. Parents want to know where their children are and what they are doing.
Some kids like this. It makes them feel safe. But other kids feel too much control. They find ways to hide what they do. Experts say that it is better to talk to kids. Parents should teach them how to be safe online. If parents are too strict, kids may break the rules. As kids get older, they need more freedom. They want to do things which they like. Some teens think that when they are 16 years old, they should tell their parents to stop controlling them.
Difficult words: control (to say what someone can or cannot do), hide (to keep away from other people), freedom (when you can do what you want).
