Fishermen Catch a Big Fish

This news is from Peru. A group of fishermen get lucky. They catch a very big fish. It is one tonne heavy. It is eight metres long. This fish is a “manta ray”.

The fishermen have a small boat. It is wooden and homemade. The big fish cannot fit on the boat. A tow truck must move the fish.

Manta rays are big, but they are not dangerous. They are calm.

Difficult words: tonne (1,000 kilograms), homemade (made at home, not bought from a shop), tow truck (a car for moving very heavy things).
