Floods in India – level 1

Heavy rains are causing floods in Kerala, India. They kill more than 29 people. They destroy homes. Over 15,000 people must live in camps. The situation looks bad. More heavy rain is coming.

Difficult words: cause (make something happen), flood (when water leaves a river or a lake), destroy (break completely).
