George H. W. Bush Dies – level 1

George H. W. Bush is one of the US presidents. Before he is president, he flies planes in WWII. He makes a lot of money running an oil company. He works in politics. He helps people feel better about their jobs.

In 1980, Bush is vice-president to Ronald Reagan. In 1989, the American people elect Bush as president. Later, his son is also president.

Bush is the oldest living US president. He dies this year.

Difficult words: politics (the running of a government), vice- (a job that helps another person with his or her job), elect (choose).
