German AI robots – level 1

29-01-2025 07:00

Neura Robotics is a German company. They make robots for homes and factories. Their newest robot, 4NE-1, can do many tasks using smart AI.

The company’s founder is David Reger. He starts as a social worker. He learns about robots with help from experts. He gets money from China first and later from Germany.

Neura builds robots in Stuttgart, Germany, and makes things like welding robots. These robots save time and money. Neura also creates special sensors to tell people and machines apart. Neura has 260 workers from 35 countries and gets many job applications. By 2030, they plan to make 5 million robots. They expect €50 million in sales this year. They want robots to be Germany’s biggest industry.

Difficult words: founder (a person who starts a company or business), sensor (a device which detects things like touch, heat, and so on), job application (a letter with details about your previous jobs and schools).

You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.

What is the goal of Neura Robotics for the year 2030 and what are their expected sales for this year?
