Horses run through London – level 1
29-04-2024 15:00
Something very unusual happens in London last week. Soldiers’ horses near Buckingham Palace have an exercise. Builders are nearby. They make a loud noise. The noise scares the horses. They run away. Four soldiers fall off them.
Five horses run through central London. They crash with cars and buses. Several people are hurt. They must go to hospital. The horses are hurt too. Two horses run to Limehouse. Limehouse is eight kilometers from Buckingham Palace. Emergency services quickly solve the situation. All horses are better now.
Difficult words: exercise (a physical activity, training), scare (to make someone afraid), fall off (to fall to the ground).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What was the reason for the emergency situation in London last week that involved soldiers, builders, and horses?
