How to make perfect sandwich bread – level 1
01-04-2025 07:00
This sandwich bread is soft inside. It has a thin, crispy crust. It has whole wheat flour, which makes it tasty. It is easy to make at home with just a few ingredients.
You need water, yeast, yogurt, oil, and two types of flour. The steps take some time. But the bread is fresh and good. First, mix all the ingredients. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes. Then, pull and fold it to make it better. Do this two times, then wait for two hours. Make the dough into a loaf and wait for one more hour. Before baking, cut the top a little. Bake with a cover first, then without it.
When the bread is ready, it makes a special sound when you tap on it. The crust is thin, and the inside is very soft. Let it cool before eating. This bread is good for sandwiches or with butter.
Difficult words: crust (the hard outer part of bread), ingredient (one of the things in a recipe), yeast (a tiny organism which helps dough rise), dough (a soft, thick mixture to make bread or pizza).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
How do the specific resting periods, pulling and folding techniques, and baking methods contribute to the thin, crispy crust and soft interior of the sandwich bread?
