Huawei has a new phone, the Mate XT. It cost 2,800 dollars.

This phone can fold in three ways. It has special tools to help with text and photos. The Mate XT comes out only hours after Apple’s new iPhone 16. It already has over 4 million pre-orders in China.  Huawei is the top seller of foldable phones with 27.5% of the market. But this new phone may not change much for other brands like Apple and Samsung. It is very expensive. Still, it shows Huawei’s strong technology.

Huawei is doing well even with US sanctions. Because of the sanctions, Huawei must use chips from China.

Difficult words: tool (a thing which does a task), pre-order (when you order a product before it is possible to buy it), foldable (a thing which you can fold), sanction (a penalty).
