Katalin Novak is the president of Hungary. She resigns.

Novak lets a man leave prison. The man is part of hiding bad things that happen to children in a children’s home. People get angry when the man gets free. Some politicians want Novak to leave. The boss of the Hungarian government, Viktor Orban, tries to help. He changes some rules. But Novak leaves anyway.

Now, the leader of the ruling party and another important person leave the government. Orban’s party is still popular. But people are not sure about the next vote.

Difficult words: resign (to leave a job or office because you decide to do it), hide (to keep things away from people to see them), government (people who lead a country).
