Iceland at FIFA – level 1
19-06-2018 07:00
Around 350,000 people live in Iceland. It is a small nation. It is the smallest nation to qualify for the FIFA World Cup.
One defender talks about life in Iceland. He says that he has a normal job. He works and then goes to training. This is normal for other players, too.
He thinks that it is great that Iceland is at FIFA. He thinks that it can be inspiring. It can inspire people to do what they love.
Difficult words: nation (the people who live in a country), qualify (be able to go and play), defender (a football player who stops the opponents), inspiring (motivating; making you feel better and wanting to do something).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
