A man works at a hospital in Wisconsin, US. He works with the new coronavirus vaccine. The company Moderna makes the vaccine. Doctors must keep the vaccine in a refrigerator. When they take it out, they must use it within 12 hours.

The man takes the vaccine out. Some people find it later. It is after more than 12 hours. It means that the vaccine does not work anymore.

The man says that it is a mistake. Later he says that he wants to destroy the vaccine. He does not say why he does it. It is a vaccine for more than 500 people. Police arrest the man.

Some people get the vaccine. Moderna says that it is not dangerous for them. They will get a new vaccine.

Difficult words: vaccine (an injection that stops somebody from getting a disease), refrigerator (a cold place where people usually keep food and drink), destroy (to make something stop working).
