On Wednesday, technology company Meta opens its first physical store. They let people visit for a little time. The store will officially open on May 9.

The store will sell its virtual reality devices. It will also share information on the Metaverse. The Metaverse is virtual reality technology. People can be together in the virtual reality.

The store is in California, USA. It is at Meta’s virtual reality department. It makes and sells its devices. The store will also sell items online.

Meta’s boss says he thinks that the Metaverse will be popular. His company spends a lot of money on it. He also says it is very new. People may like it after a long time.

Difficult words: physical (a place or thing that you see or touch), virtual reality (technology that makes a place or things look real, but it is all in a computer), device (an electronic system such as a computer, smart phone, or game machine).
