Musk and Tesla – level 2
05-04-2024 07:00
A recent study found that fewer people in the United States want to buy a Tesla car.
One reason for this is the behavior of Elon Musk who is the CEO of Tesla. Some people don’t like him. In the past, Tesla’s sales grew, but experts expect lower sales soon. The study showed that since November 2021, people got less interested in Tesla. They got more interested in buying cars from companies like Mercedes, BMW, and Audi.
Most Americans think of Elon Musk when they think about Tesla. This is a problem because Musk’s ideas and statements are affecting Tesla’s brand and sales. Also, worries about money and competition from other companies are making things hard for Tesla.
Difficult words: behavior (the way someone acts), statement (what someone says openly), brand (a product which a company makes under a particular name).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What factors are influencing the decrease in interest for buying a Tesla car, according to the recent study?
