In the 1980s, the movie “Back to the Future” is in theaters. It shows flying cars. People think that we can have flying cars in the 2000s.

We do not have flying cars for a long time. Recently, they become a real technology. A company shows a flying car at a show. The show is the 2023 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

CES is important for companies to share new technology. Car technology is the focus for this year’s show. Many types of cars are at the show.

Some examples are electric race cars, a big remote-controlled dump truck, and the flying car. Other examples are a car that changes color, an electric car with many sensors and cameras, and a truck that follows you if you are outside the car. A company also shows new software for electronics in cars.

Difficult words: focus (the main idea), remote-controlled dump truck (a truck that carries trash and a person controls it with electronics), sensor (a technology that reads information around something).
