New Zealand Shootings – level 1

Christchurch is a city in New Zealand. On Friday, there are two mass shootings there. At least 49 people die. Twenty people are badly injured.

The shootings happen at two mosques. The attacker is a 28-year-old man. He kills mostly immigrants. He hates Muslims and immigrants.

Difficult words: mass shooting (when somebody shoots many people), injured (something is wrong with a person’s body), mosque (a building where Muslims pray).
