Princess Martha Louise of Norway marries Durek Verrett, a spiritual teacher from the US.

The wedding is in Geiranger. Many important people come, including the king. Martha Louise stops doing royal work in 2022. She starts her own business. She and Durek say that they will not use her princess title for money. But they do it. Some people do not like that they make a special pink gin for their wedding. The wedding is private. Only a few media are there.

Durek will be part of the royal family, but he will not be a prince. Some people think the marriage is unusual because Martha Louise believes in talking to angels and Durek does spiritual work.
