The Paris Olympics start with a big celebration.  Many people come to watch it.

Over 300,000 people see teams from 205 countries. They come on boats on the Seine River. Famous singers Lady Gaga and Céline Dion sing at famous monuments. Lady Gaga sings a funny song, and Céline Dion sings a beautiful song. It rains a lot during the celebration. But the show is still good. People enjoy it very much.

The event shows famous places in Paris and the values of France. It is a big and exciting event.

Difficult words: monument (a famous building), value (what is important to people), exciting (what makes people happy and excited).
