Plastic Bags in NY – level 1

The US state of New York is banning plastic bags. The ban is going to start next March. However, not all plastic bags are going to be banned. For example, people are going to be able to buy plastic bags for clothes, newspapers, and take-out food.

Right now, in the USA, there are only two states with a ban on plastic bags. They are California and Hawaii.

Difficult words: ban (make something illegal), is/are going to (in the future), be able (can).
