Plastic Galapagos Islands – level 1
06-06-2018 07:00
People make a lot of litter. Plastics can be a problem. The Galapagos Islands are in the Pacific Ocean. Plastics from South America and the Pacific are littering the islands.
The Galapagos Islands are home to hundreds of endemic species. People must do something about the litter.
Difficult words: litter noun (trash like paper, bottles or cans), litter adjective (make something covered in litter), endemic species (animals and plants which are only on the Galapagos Islands).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
