Pope Francis in the USA – level 1

Pope Francis visits the USA. He is there for six days. He meets with Barack Obama. The pope talks about climate change. He says that it is a problem and that we must solve this problem.

Pope Francis also talks to the Senate and the House of Representatives. He is the first pope to do this.

Difficult words: climate change (a change in climate – global weather), solve (if you solve a problem, you make the problem go away), House of Representatives (the group of people in the USA who make laws; the “bosses”).
