Severe Storms in Italy – level 1

There are terrible storms in Italy. There is a lot of wind and rain. All of this kills at least 14 people. The people die in car accidents. Pieces of things hit them. Trees fall on them.

The storms fill up dams. Trees fall down. Houses go under water. Mudslides fall on roads. Mudslides make buildings fall down hills.

Difficult words: terrible (very bad), dam (a lake which holds water because people built a wall), mudslide (when water makes the land move like water).
