02-08-2024 07:00

In Southport, England, three girls died in a stabbing attack at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class.

The girls were six, seven, and nine years old. Five other children and two adults are critically hurt. The attack happened on Monday, and the police arrested a 17-year-old boy. Officials visited the scene and laid flowers. The community is very sad and confused about this terrible event. Taylor Swift said she is shocked and very sad. The arrested boy is from Cardiff and moved to Southport in 2013. His parents are from Rwanda.

The police say this is not a terrorist attack. They are trying to find out why this happened. Many people are leaving flowers to show respect and support.

Difficult words: stab (to attack someone with a knife), themed (about a specific topic), scene (a place where something happens).
