A man from Kentucky, US, kidnaps a girl. Kidnap means that he takes her away from her family. Police look for the girl.

The girl learns a special signal on TikTok. She holds her palm up. She puts her thumb into her palm. Then she closes her other fingers over her thumb. This signal means that she is in a dangerous situation.

A driver sees the girl in a car. He knows the signal. He calls the police. They save the girl. Police do not know the signal.

People start to use the signal during COVID-19. They spend a lot of time at home. Some people do not behave well to each other. The signal helps them. They can show it on a video call.

Difficult words: signal (an action which gives information or a message), palm (the inside part of the hand), to behave (to do and say things).
