Tesla Cybercab – level 1
17-10-2024 07:00
Elon Musk shows Tesla’s new robotaxi, the Cybercab, in Los Angeles.
The car has no steering wheel or pedals. It will cost less than 30,000 dollars. Production will begin in 2026. Musk also introduces a robovan. It can carry 20 people. Tesla is now focusing on making robots, not just cars.
Musk says that these self-driving cars will be much safer than human drivers. But there are still problems with safety. The Cybercab will cost 20 cents per mile to use, and the robovan will cost only 5 cents per mile.
Musk also talks about Tesla’s robot called Optimus. Some people are unhappy because Musk does not give much information about the robotaxi.
Difficult words: steering wheel (a part of a car which you hold with your hands when you are driving), focus (to be the most interested in something), self-driving (a car with no driver).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
What is the cost per mile to use Tesla's new Cybercab and robovan, as introduced by Elon Musk?
