A man opens the first cannabis café in Israel. It is in the town of Tira. The café’s name is Smoky Monkey.
A cannabis café is a place where people can buy or smoke marijuana. These people have a lot of pain. They have work accidents or car injuries in the past. The pain lasts many months or years. Marijuana helps them.
People buy marijuana illegally in the past. The man at the café knows these people. He wants to help them. He opens the café.
Some people worry. They don’t understand the idea. They want to kill the man. They want to burn down the café. Then they slowly change what they think.
Difficult words: marijuana (the dried leaves and flowers of a cannabis plant), pain (when a part of the body hurts), illegally (against the official rules).
