Two Record Climbers – level 1
23-05-2018 15:00
Two great climbers come to Kathmandu. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. Both climbers return from Mount Everest. People come to welcome them.
One of them is a Sherpa guide. He climbs Mount Everest 22 times. That is a new record. He is 48 years old. He does not want to stop. He is already planning his next trip.
The other man is an Australian. He climbs the highest mountains on all seven continents. It takes him just 117 days. He wants to go home and relax now.
Difficult words: climber (a person who climbs/goes up mountains), Sherpa (a person from Nepal or Tibet who can climb mountains very well).
You can watch the original video in the Level 3 section.
