US abortion organizations said that demand and donations increased.
On Monday, the news reported that the Supreme Court may overturn Roe Vs. Wade. The 1973 court case legalized abortion in the US, and many people were upset. Some people have attacked it for years.
Before Monday, many US states limited abortion. People expect they’ll stop all abortions if Roe Vs. Wade is overturned. Other states will decide what to do.
Pills are a new option for abortion. They are now very common in the US. One medicine company works with the US, foreign doctors, and pharmacies to get the medications. The US government cannot fully control its work with foreign countries.
Difficult words: the Supreme Court (the most powerful court in a country; it allows or ends laws), overturn (to end something that was allowed), legalize (to allow something to happen).
