Killing Fields in Cambodia – level 1

In 1975 to 1979, three million people die in Cambodia. The Khmer Rouge regime killed them.

Tourists in Cambodia visit the Killing Fields and the Genocide Museum. They can now go there by bus. They watch a documentary film about the genocide.

Difficult words: regime (a government that does not let people decide what they want to do), genocide (a killing of many people).
